Fullstack Deverlope (Java & React) (3 yrs – 10 yrs exp) / Investment Bank / Contract

An investment banking client is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and enhance internal trading and risk management applications. The ideal candidate will have experience across both front-end and back-end technologies, with a strong understanding of financial systems, data flows, and integration with trading or portfolio platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications used by traders, risk managers, and operations teams.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for system integration and automation.
• Implement and maintain secure, high-performance database queries and data models.
• Ensure applications meet technical, performance, and security standards in line with bank policies.
• Participate in code reviews, release management, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in modern web technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Angular, and backend frameworks like Java (Spring Boot), .NET Core, Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI), or Node.js.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of API design, system integration, and data security practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
