Job Summary:

As the APAC IT Business Partner for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, you will play a pivotal role in aligning IT strategies with business objectives, primarily focusing on finance, supply chain, and HR solutions. Your responsibilities will encompass team management, stakeholder management, and driving digital transformation initiatives within an SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Alignment:

  • Collaborate with business leaders in APAC to understand their objectives, challenges, and IT requirements within finance, supply chain, and HR domains.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business landscape and industry trends to ensure that IT solutions are aligned with long-term strategic goals.

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing guidance in their career development.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and skill development to meet project and departmental goals.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at various levels within the organization, ensuring open communication and understanding of IT initiatives.
  • Act as a bridge between IT and business units, translating business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.

Solution Delivery:

  • Oversee the identification, evaluation, and implementation of IT solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance, supply chain, and HR processes.
  • Manage project lifecycles, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful solution delivery.

SAP Expertise:

  • Leverage your extensive experience in the SAP environment to provide guidance on SAP-related projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with SAP experts and vendors to optimize the use of SAP systems in APAC.

Digital Transformation:

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives across the APAC region, leveraging emerging technologies to improve business processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences.
  • Develop a roadmap for digital transformation projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and challenges in IT projects and implement mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity and compliance requirements to protect the organization's IT assets.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the IT budget for the APAC region, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in IT leadership roles, with a strong background in team management.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing IT solutions in finance, supply chain, or HR domains.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP systems and their integration with business processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
