Financial Reporting Manager

Location:

Abu Dhabi- UAE

Reporting to:

Group Controller

Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely SCA and ADX filings. Responsibilities for this role will include providing clear financial results to shareholders and potential investors, coordinating with external auditors while regularly interacting with other departments like Investor Relations, Corporate Governance, Treasury and Planning and Budgeting.

Accountabilities:

§ Responsible for the annual and quarterly financial statements preparation and reporting for the ultimate purpose of SCA and ADX filings.

§ Ensures compliance with all accounting and regulatory standards.

§ Manages the preparation of the SCA and ADX filings ensuring compliance with their reporting requirements.

§ Monitors IFRS and SCA developments and lead the adoption of new accounting and disclosure rules as well as resolving complex technical accounting issues.

§ Works closely with the external auditors and manages the annual and quarterly reviews and audits.

§ Supports the quarterly earnings release process.

§ Supports the Group Controller in leading other significant projects, including the disclosures for M&A transactions.

Experience and Qualification Required:

§ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

§ Minimum of 8 years business experience in accounting.

§ Accounting certification or accounting/finance related advanced degree is required.

§ Experience in a multinational listed company.

§ Extensive knowledge of financial statements, technical accounting and SCA/ADX requirements.

§ Experience with accounting consolidation systems, specifically HFM, is a plus.
