Argyll Scott is helping the client looking for Head of IT. This role will responsible for managing and leading Equity Capital Market (ECM) department to achieve target revenue from equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities;
- To manage a medium to small size Technology Team, which include SRE team, application development, and infrastructure team
- Experience in Technical Project Management, Service Delivery Management experience and ability in technical problems solving skill is a must
- Lead and manage a team of developers/engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives and meet committed timelines
- Plan, co-ordinate and liaise with users, vendor and the development team on system requirements gathering, documentation and creating/performing user acceptance tests for successful, scalable and efficient system implementation
- Ability to manage stakeholders from various departments
- Ability to manage budget & cost management
- Sensitive to Risk and Compliance related matters and upholding company technology frameworks and standard
- Possess Equities Trading and Back Office Settlement system/application knowledge and experience is a plus
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing, culture of high-quality standards, and continuous learning
Key Qualifications;
- Experience supporting Wealth Management and Trading businesses
- Knowledge of Trading products and Execution lifecycle (Equities, Cash FX or Bonds)
- Familiarity with trade processing/settlement experience is an advantage
- Agile practice experience is a must
- Solid understanding of internet and mobile banking concepts, technologies, and best practices
- Experience in managing medium to large scale application project from beginning to end, with skills in requirement study and functional/detail design, QA, testing, and software change/version control management is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- High sense of ownership of task assigned, deliver applications with high quality and efficiency
- Good communication, inter-personnel skills is required
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills
- At least 5 years of working experience in application development and support, preferably in banking environments
- A bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent experience)
- Good Command in English and Thai (both written and spoken)
