Our client is a large Thai Corporate which the main business is sugar processing. They are looking for a "Vice President" to lead on overall business strategy both short term and long term, ensure all KPIs are met, run overall P&L, and work in partnership with key stakeholders. The qualified candidate must have an understanding of operations from complex Human Resource issues to technical infrastructure with solid interpersonal, communication, project management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

· Report directly to the MD and acting as leader of organization by working with the board and management team to establish short and long-term business strategy

· Create, communicate and implement the Organization's vision, mission, strategy, culture and overall direction

· Prepare a corporate plan and annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that the company achieve its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible

· Lead and direct the management team to reach effective decision making based on full compliance and way of conduct

· Establish and maintain effective & transparent relationship with all key stakeholders and relevant government agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers and other stakeholders to ensure the operation of business with integrity

· Monitor the implementation of policies, procedures and standards to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations

· Oversee the complete operation of an organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plan

· Keep abreast of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for business, markets, and industry development

· Represent the organization in professional associations and activities in the local community and probably at the national level

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, MBA or other relevant fields, strongly preferred in Sugar industry
  • At least 10 years' senior level experience of people management
  • Broad knowledge and experience in project management, manufacturing, sales & marketing and finance with ability to thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Overall understanding of operations from complex Human Resource issues to technical infrastructure
  • High level of executive maturity that enables one to develop strong client partnerships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and people management skills
  • Dynamic, Versatile, Critical thinking, Positive attitude, and Hands-on with solid stakeholder management skills
  • Able to travel to upcountry
  • THAI Nationally only
