AI Delivery Lead / Insurance/ $1.5-1.7 M+

Location: Hong Kong

We are partnering with a leading insurer seeking an experienced AI Delivery Lead to drive the execution of high-impact artificial intelligence initiatives across the organisation.

This is not a traditional data delivery or programme management position. The successful candidate will bring genuine AI expertise, understand how AI solutions are designed and built, and have a strong track record of moving use cases from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI, generative AI and agentic AI initiatives across business and technology functions.
• Translate business challenges into practical AI use cases, delivery plans and scalable solutions.
• Partner with AI engineers, architects, data teams, product owners and business stakeholders to drive execution.
• Establish clear delivery governance, milestones, dependencies and measurable business outcomes.
• Challenge technical and delivery decisions to ensure solutions are practical, secure and production-ready.
• Support AI adoption across the organisation, including stakeholder engagement, change management and operating model development.
• Manage external technology partners and vendors where required.

Requirements

• Strong experience delivering AI solutions, with a clear understanding of generative AI, machine learning, large language models and modern AI platforms.
• Proven ability to take AI products or use cases from early-stage design into production.
• A hands-on, builder-oriented mindset rather than a purely governance or programme management background.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior business leaders.
• Financial services or insurance experience is preferred.
• Experience within consulting, an AI agency, innovation lab or technology delivery environment would be highly valuable.
• Knowledge of the insurance agency or distribution model would be a significant advantage.
• Strong English communication skills; Cantonese or Mandarin would be beneficial.
