AI Engineer- Contract- FS- 7k

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver software solutions using AI-assisted development workflows across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Leverage AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code and similar platforms) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance engineering productivity.
• Apply and promote BMAD methodologies and AI-enabled engineering practices within day-to-day software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI into development processes including coding, testing, documentation, debugging, and deployment.
• Establish best practices, governance, and operating models for AI-assisted software engineering.
• Drive internal enablement by creating reusable frameworks, documentation, playbooks, and training materials.
• Mentor engineers and help raise overall organizational capability in AI-driven development.
• Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI engineering tools and recommend adoption strategies.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership teams to scale AI engineering capabilities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering production systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools in real delivery environments(e.g. Claude Code or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices and how AI can enhance each phase of software delivery.
• Familiarity with BMAD methodologies and AI-enabled development approaches.
• Experience driving engineering productivity, automation, and developer enablement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and influence engineering teams.
• Experience creating internal frameworks, standards, or capability-building programs is highly preferred.
• Growth mindset with interest in emerging AI engineering practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal developer platforms or engineering excellence programs.
• Exposure to LLM applications, AI orchestration frameworks, or developer productivity tooling.
• Experience introducing AI adoption at team or organizational scale.
