The Role: Application Manager (Luxury Retail)

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to lead the strategic direction, enhancement, and operational excellence of our business‑critical applications across the luxury retail ecosystem. If you are passionate about transforming retail through technology and delivering exceptional digital experiences, we’d love to meet you.

As the Application Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of our core enterprise systems, including our retail ERP and CRM platforms. You will lead digital transformation initiatives, own long‑term product roadmaps, and ensure our systems deliver seamless, data‑driven performance across all markets and functions. This role is central to enabling business growth, operational efficiency, and elevated customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Core Application Leadership

  • Manage end‑to‑end operations of retail ERP and CRM systems, ensuring high availability, stability, and scalability to support omnichannel retail operations.
  • Oversee application configurations, enhancements, workflow optimization, and continuous process improvement.
  • Ensure alignment between retail operations, merchandising, finance, supply chain, and customer‑engagement teams through effective system design and governance.
  • Lead cross‑system integration efforts to ensure ERP, CRM, POS, eCommerce, and other applications work together in a seamless ecosystem.

Retail ERP Responsibilities

  • Support and enhance core retail processes including inventory, procurement, allocation, warehousing, and financial flows.
  • Drive improvements in store operations efficiency through system updates, automation, and streamlined workflows.
  • Manage ERP upgrade cycles, data migration activities, regression testing, and post‑upgrade stabilization.
  • Maintain strong data integrity across master data, transactional flows, and reporting outputs.

CRM Responsibilities

  • Oversee CRM functionality to support loyalty programs, customer segmentation, service excellence, and targeted marketing.
  • Partner with retail, CRM, and marketing teams to design customer journeys and enable personalized clienteling experiences.
  • Ensure accurate, compliant, and real‑time customer data availability for marketing, retail, and business insight teams.
  • Lead enhancements that strengthen customer engagement, retention, and omnichannel experience consistency.

Project Management & Transformation

  • Develop 5‑ to 10‑year application roadmaps aligned with business growth and digital strategy.
  • Lead major transformation and upgrade projects from planning to delivery and user adoption.
  • Drive data intelligence initiatives and ensure high standards of data governance and reporting accuracy.
  • Manage project budgets, cross‑functional stakeholders, risks, and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of technical and functional specialists.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across retail, HQ functions, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Deliver transparent communication on project timelines, milestones, updates, and outcomes.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain system compliance, license validity, and application security standards.
  • Manage post‑implementation support models, documentation, and go‑live enablement.
  • Monitor system performance, ensure timely patches, and oversee continuous enhancements.

Key requirements:

  • Proven experience managing ERP and CRM systems in retail, luxury, or fast‑paced consumer environments.
  • Strong project management capability with a record of delivering digital or system‑upgrade initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of system integration, data governance, and cross‑functional workflow design.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to guide and grow a technical team.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and communication skills.
