Business Analyst, AI Delivery (Contract)

A leading global financial services group is hiring Business Analysts as part of a team transformation toward a product-led, AI-assisted delivery model. This role sits within a cross-functional squad working closely with product, engineering, and delivery leads to translate business requirements into actionable outputs. The environment is evolving rapidly with the adoption of AI tools to accelerate delivery, and this role is suited for individuals who are comfortable operating at the intersection of business analysis, technology, and AI-enabled workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into structured documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Produce both business and technical artefacts such as process flows, API interaction diagrams, system integration maps, and data flow documentation
• Maintain and prioritise backlogs in collaboration with product and delivery leads, ensuring clarity and readiness for development
• Identify dependencies, risks, and edge cases early, proactively raising potential delivery issues
• Support delivery activities including sprint planning, refinement, UAT coordination, and validation of outputs against requirements
• Manage change governance processes, including preparation of change documentation, impact assessments, and coordination of approvals
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate BA deliverables (e.g. documentation, flows, test scenarios), while reviewing and refining outputs for accuracy and completeness

Job Requirements

Must-Have:

• 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a digital or technology delivery environment
• Strong grounding in SDLC with exposure to agile delivery practices
• Experience working with APIs, including understanding request/response structures and documenting integration flows
• Proven ability to produce both business process and technical documentation (e.g. system flows, data flows, integration diagrams)
• Hands-on experience with change governance processes, including managing approvals and documentation for releases
• Exposure to or experience using AI tools within delivery workflows (e.g. GenAI, AI-assisted documentation, automation tools)
• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with developers, QA, and product stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical audiences

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated environments
• Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows or emerging AI delivery methodologies
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar collaboration platforms
