Confidential Search: CFO, ASEAN (FMCG)
A global FMCG organisation
is hiring a forward-leaning and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ASEAN
to lead its finance organisation across diverse and fast-growing ASEAN markets.
With strong foundations in place and bold multi-year growth ambitions, this pivotal leadership role holds full accountability for financial performance, capital investment, and capability transformation. The ASEAN CFO will partner directly with the Head of Region in shaping strategy, challenging decisions, and driving value creation in complex, high-growth environments.
Key responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Head of Region to challenge, shape, and execute strategic priorities across commercial and supply chain
- Lead all FP&A, controlling, compliance, and risk functions across ASEAN markets
- Drive capital allocation and investment decisions, including market expansion, M&A, and footprint optimisation in fast-growing economies
- Build and develop high-performing, multi-country finance teams
- Advance finance transformation through automation, process efficiency, and modernisation
- Deliver financial insights that inform customer, pricing, and route-to-market strategies
- Ensure rigorous governance and alignment with global standards across diverse regulatory environments
Key requirements
- Over 15+ years of progressive finance leadership in top-tier multinational FMCG environments
- Mandatory: experienced in capital investment and business decision-making in fast-growing markets (e.g., expansion, M&A, new market entry)
- Proven track record in supporting multi-country business operations and driving commercial outcomes
- Deep experience in commercial finance, supply chain finance, and/or operational controlling
- Strong credentials in leading finance transformation, eg. automation, shared services
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and influential, with the ability to operate across complexity at scale
