We are seeking an experienced and strategic Channel Marketing Insights Manager for a Global FMCG company. This role will be responsible for analyzing sales, trade investments, and promotional activities to provide insights that guide trade marketing strategy and optimize channel performance. This role ensures trade spend efficiency, supports category growth, and helps align sales and marketing efforts with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, promotion, and market data to evaluate trade marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure relevant data is provided for commercial planning and development processes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Produce standard and ad-hoc reports/analysis as required by Head of Sales, Trade Marketing, and Information Systems.
- Manage and maintain the central database for the cluster, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.
- Provide insights on trade investments, promotions, and activation ROI with recommendations for improvement.
- Support local operations with analytical and administrative needs to enhance business decision-making.
- Monitor channel and customer performance to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Track competitor activities and market trends to support commercial strategy.
- Partner with category, sales, and finance teams to align trade marketing initiatives with business priorities.
- Support planning of annual trade marketing calendar and budget allocation, including project budget management.
- Develop trade marketing dashboards, performance reports, and presentations for management and sales teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- At least 4 years’ experience in Sales Analysis, Marketing, Sales or Shopper Marketing / Trade Marketing in FMCG industry.
- Basic knowledge of channels preferred
- Basic Analytical / Financial Analysis skills required
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with Nielsen, Kantar, or other syndicated data sources is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal skill and presentation skills.
- Fluent in Thai and English
