Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Lead to drive the stability, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise-scale cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud governance, financial operations (FinOps), service management, and automation, with strong alignment to business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep enterprise cloud operations experience (Azure-focused), strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and expertise in cost management, service delivery, and AI-driven automation, rather than hands-on engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Operations & Governance:

• Lead the end-to-end cloud operations function across enterprise Azure environments.
• Establish and enforce operational standards, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of cloud platforms.
• Manage relationships with cloud vendors (e.g., Microsoft) and internal stakeholders.

FinOps & Cost Management:

• Own and drive cloud financial management (FinOps) strategy and execution.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spend across business units.
• Provide transparency on cost drivers and usage patterns.
• Engage with Microsoft and internal business teams to:
  • Review consumption and billing
  • Negotiate and optimize cost structures
  • Align cloud investment with business value (TOM – Target Operating Model)
• Establish cost governance frameworks, budgets, and forecasting models.

Service Management (ServiceNow):

• Lead ServiceNow-driven ITSM processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Optimize and mature service delivery capabilities across cloud operations.
• Leverage advanced ServiceNow capabilities for automation and reporting.
• Ensure seamless integration between cloud platforms and ITSM tooling.

AI, Automation & Innovation:

• Drive adoption of AI and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for:
  • Intelligent monitoring (AIOps)
  • Automated remediation
  • Workflow optimization
• Partner with technology and business teams to enable AI-led cloud operations.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Act as the bridge between business, IT, and cloud providers.
• Communicate cloud performance, cost, and value to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of IT experience, with significant focus on enterprise cloud operations.
• Proven experience leading cloud operations at scale (preferably Azure).
• Strong exposure to FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and financial governance.
• Experience working with large enterprises and complex environments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical and financial insights to business leaders.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on value realization and operational excellence.
