Co-Manufacturing Manager

Location: Bangkok and travel to Samutsakorn

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Contract Manufacturing Manager to join a leading food and beverage manufacturing company. This role is responsible for managing and executing all contract manufacturing (Co-Manu) operations, acting as the primary point of contact and main contractor to ensure quality, efficiency, and performance alignment with the company’s standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Co-Manufacturing Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all contract manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery.
    • Ensure adherence to product specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and contract manufacturing partners.
  2. Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-manufacturers.
    • Monitor and evaluate contract manufacturer performance against key KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, service levels).
    • Conduct regular business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  3. Cost and Efficiency Optimization:
    • Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
    • Support make vs. buy decisions and capacity planning.
    • Negotiate terms, contracts, and service agreements with manufacturing partners.
  4. Quality & Compliance Assurance:
    • Ensure all manufacturing partners follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and quality assurance protocols.
    • Support audits and compliance checks, working closely with the QA and regulatory teams.
    • Drive resolution of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in food and beverage manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of co-manufacturing, supply chain operations, and quality compliance standards.
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety certifications (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Good command both Thai and English
