Job Title: Cross-Border E-commerce Manager, South Korea

Reports to: Senior E-commerce Manager, South Korea

Location: Seoul, South Korea

As part of the South Korea commercial team, the Cross-Border E-commerce Manager will be responsible for delivering online sales growth across Coupang and cross-border e-commerce platforms. This role will focus on driving digital performance for globally recognized Nutrition brands within one of the most dynamic and diversified digital landscapes in Asia.

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering strong GMV, optimizing traffic and conversion, managing platform partnerships, and creating compelling online brand experiences that enhance the customer journey. This role is critical to accelerating GPN’s ambition in South Korea—one of the key strategic markets in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Sales Management

  • Own and drive the online sales and commercial performance across cross-border e-commerce channels and Coupang Jikgu.
  • Lead account management and negotiations with cross-border partners, platform operators, and e-commerce distributors.
  • Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBPs), price strategy, and promotional planning to meet sales objectives.

Campaign & Content Execution

  • Manage and optimize brand visibility through platform marketing campaigns, content optimization, and SEO on product detail pages.
  • Coordinate closely with the marketing and brand teams to ensure digital content aligns with brand guidelines and drives conversion.
  • Execute trade and media spend in line with performance goals (ROI/ROAS).

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on e-commerce KPIs including traffic, conversion, GMV, basket size, and sell-out.
  • Consolidate monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and provide insights to support planning and forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Country Manager and broader APAC team on business reviews and strategy development.

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects including platform innovation, campaign launches, and new product development (NPD) initiatives for the South Korea market.
  • Collaborate on D2C strategies and platform diversification projects as needed.

  • Navigating complex import and cross-border trade logistics
  • Staying ahead of a rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape
  • Managing distributor and partner alignment on pricing, stock, and content

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cross-border e-commerce operations and sales.
  • Proven success in managing e-commerce performance for brand official stores and/or through 1st or 3rd party platforms.
  • Solid experience in Coupang (including operational and promotional tools) and other key cross-border marketplaces.
  • Deep understanding of import regulations, customs processes, and pricing structures in South Korea.
  • Track record in commercial planning, digital marketing, and campaign ROI analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
