A leading multinational financial services institution is expanding its regional technology hub in Taipei and seeking a Data & AI Enterprise Architect to lead the transformation of its modern data estate and applied AI ecosystem.

In this individual contributor role, you will bridge data architecture and enterprise AI deployment. You will be responsible for modernizing legacy data infrastructure, sunsetting traditional enterprise data warehouses, and building scalable cloud-native architectures that connect local data products with broader regional platforms. Working alongside dedicated AI and Data domain architects, you will serve as the core technical authority unifying data foundations with emerging generative AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end data and AI architecture strategies, guiding the transition from legacy core enterprise databases to scalable, cloud-first data products.
• Align local data pipelines, storage, and analytics platforms with regional enterprise data standards and group-wide data products.
• Partner with AI engineering and MLOps teams to design production-grade integration architectures for generative AI, agentic workflows, and LLM orchestration tools.
• Serve as a dotted-line technical lead across data engineering, platform operations, and business delivery teams to ensure architectural governance and solution scalability.
• Drive data pipeline optimization, enterprise data modeling, and modern cloud warehouse architecture to support real-time analytics and predictive capabilities.

Technical Stack & Environment

Target Candidate Profile

• Enterprise Data Track Record: Proven background leading large-scale enterprise data architecture or digital transformation initiatives within complex ecosystems.
• Pragmatic AI Capability: Strong foundational depth in data engineering/architecture coexisting with practical, hands-on exposure to applied AI deployment and LLM tooling.
• Domain Exposure: Background in Insurance, Financial Services, or Banking is preferred; candidates with deep enterprise data scale from Telecommunications, Supply Chain, or High-Tech Manufacturing will also be considered.
• Communication & Alignment Skills: Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment, consolidating architectural visions across distinct business and IT stakeholders.
• Language & Location: Based in Taipei (or possessing full local work authorization) due to regulatory data residency mandates. Fluent in Traditional Chinese and professional working proficiency in English.
