Director of Communications, Customer & Culture/ FS / $110-130k P/M
12 month extendable contract (expected to run for 2+ years)
A senior leadership opportunity to shape the narrative behind a large, complex organisation’s customer and culture agenda.
This role acts as a strategic communications partner to the Group Customer & Culture leadership, reporting into Global Internal Communications. Sitting on both Customer & Culture and Internal Communications leadership teams, you will define and deliver bold, insight-led communications that influence behaviour, strengthen trust, and embed a truly customer-centric culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver a clear, compelling communications strategy that drives customer-centric thinking across a global colleague base and positions this agenda consistently both internally and externally.
- Design and execute high-impact, creative campaigns that shift mindset and behaviours around performance, care, and leadership.
- Develop a strong narrative that brings customer outcomes to life through powerful storytelling, modern formats, and data-led insight.
- Partner closely with senior leaders to influence, challenge, and align messaging across a highly matrixed environment.
- Ensure communications fully support leadership and culture frameworks, with disciplined execution and measurable impact.
- Maintain consistency of tone, messaging, and positioning across channels and regions.
Required Experience & Capabilities
- Proven experience at Communications Director or Head of Communications level within a large, global organisation.
- Track record of leading enterprise-wide communications strategies across complex, matrixed structures.
- Exceptional writing and editorial capability, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into sharp, engaging messages.
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of how communications drives organisational performance and reputation.
- Deep understanding of modern communications techniques, channels, and formats with a strong digital and UX focus.
- Highly creative, execution-focused, and confident operating with senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Experienced in using data, insight, and testing to continuously refine communications for impact and reach.
