About the Role
We are looking for a strategic leader in cybersecurity architecture to join our team as an Security Architect. This senior role is responsible for defining and governing our enterprise security blueprint—ensuring security requirements are embedded consistently across the organization while enabling technology teams to deliver solutions efficiently and securely.
This is not a solution design or implementation role. Instead, you will set the architectural guardrails that guide how technology is designed across cloud, identity, data, network, platform, and operational technology environments.
What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve the enterprise security architecture framework, aligning it with business priorities, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
- Define security principles, standards, and reference architectures for consistent application across initiatives.
- Lead risk-based security architecture reviews for high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise guardrails.
- Manage exceptions and waivers, ensuring decisions are risk-informed and documented.
- Collaborate with cyber defense, risk, and technology teams to translate control objectives into practical, delivery-friendly guidance.
- Maintain approved security patterns and standard approaches for common architectural scenarios.
- This role will not act as a solution architect or configure tools; will also not own delivery or operational outcomes—technology teams retain accountability for implementation and operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep experience in enterprise-level cybersecurity architecture within large, complex organizations.
- Strong ability to operate across strategy, risk, and technology domains.
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and balancing risk vs delivery trade-offs.
- Expertise in cloud, identity, data, network, and platform security.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security concepts in business terms.
