Head of Commercial Finance ANZ

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity–backed consumer business to appoint a high-calibre Head of Commercial Finance to lead the ANZ finance function through its next stage of growth and transformation.

This is a pivotal role reporting to both the Managing Director, ANZ and the CFO, APAC, where you will take full ownership of the region’s financial management, partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and deliver commercial insights that support business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a small, high-performing finance team across ANZ

• Full financial management including reporting, forecasting, and budgeting

• Partner with senior leadership on commercial strategy, growth initiatives, and business performance

• Drive the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring data integrity, efficiency, and scalability

• Oversee the consolidation and optimisation of manufacturing operations in Australia, improving cost efficiencies and productivity

• Ensure compliance, risk management, and robust financial controls across the region

Key Requirements:

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualified accountant with strong commercial finance experience

• Proven track record in FMCG or multinational environments, ideally with exposure to private equity–backed growth businesses

• Experience implementing ERP systems and managing finance transformation projects

• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance and cost optimisation

• Commercially astute, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
