Head of Commercial Finance (Malaysia based)

You will be responsible for transforming data into actionable intelligence, ensuring that financial goals are met through rigorous business partnering and objective analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the financial agenda for core business units ensuring that finance acts as a value-add partner rather than just a reporting function.
• Design and refine processes for regional forecasting, P&L management, and working capital optimization to ensure high-impact outcomes in a fast-paced setting.
• Cultivate a high-performing finance culture by coaching a multi-layered team and building bench strength across the region.
• Act as a critical advisor to senior leadership, using professional skepticism to challenge assumptions and highlight emerging trends or risks.
• Navigate complex international boundaries to build meaningful professional relationships with both regional stakeholders and global headquarters.

The ideal candidate should possess

• Extensive leadership experience of over 12 years across various SEA markets, with a background spanning both corporate and operational finance environments.
• Exceptional commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage complex P&L lines and provide top-tier analytical insights.
• A background in dynamic, high-evolution industries where you have successfully built capability and defined processes from the ground up.
• A values-based leader with the presence and communication skills to influence cross-cultural teams and senior executives.
