Our client is a leading business operating within the FMCG sector, seeking an experienced Head of Field Operations to lead business performance, operational excellence, and client delivery across Thailand.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving operational effectiveness, enhancing customer experience, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance, support growth initiatives, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Lead and oversee nationwide field operations to ensure consistent execution and service excellence.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives and client expectations.
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives across all business units.
- Establish and optimize processes, structures, and performance standards to support scalable growth.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a senior escalation point for operational and service-related matters.
- Lead regular business reviews and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and strengthen commercial partnerships.
Financial & Business Performance
- Manage operational budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Drive profitability through effective cost management and productivity improvements.
- Monitor business performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainable business growth.
People Leadership
- Lead, develop, and inspire a large and diverse operations team.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, coaching, and capability-building initiatives.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging work environment that supports employee growth and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline. MBA is advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years of experience within FMCG, retail, field operations, sales operations, trade marketing, or related industries.
- Proven experience leading large-scale operations and managing sizeable field teams across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of retail execution, merchandising, field force management, and customer engagement.
- Demonstrated success in client management and stakeholder relationship building.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
