We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Solution Architect with ideally regional/global exposure to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide Identity & Access Management solutions. This role requires a strong balance of technical depth, solution design capability, and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will drive collaboration, productivity, and user adoption at scale, ensuring IAM platforms are secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Design end-to-end IAM solutions covering authentication, authorization, access governance, and privileged access management.
  • Translate business and compliance requirements into scalable IAM architectures and roadmaps.
  • Define IAM reference architectures, standards, and patterns in alignment with enterprise security frameworks.
  • Conduct solution evaluations and recommend best-fit IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, SailPoint, CyberArk).

Implementation & Technical Expertise

  • Oversee solution design and delivery for IAM integrations with cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
  • Provide technical leadership for projects involving SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, directory services, and API security.
  • Ensure IAM solutions support regulatory, audit, and compliance needs (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2).
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure high-quality deployment, testing, and operations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders.
  • Work closely with security, infrastructure, HR, and application teams to embed IAM capabilities into enterprise processes.
  • Drive user adoption of IAM solutions by aligning technical design with user experience and business outcomes.
  • Present solution options and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define IAM KPIs and metrics to measure adoption, maturity, and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on IAM industry trends, emerging technologies, and threat landscapes.
  • Recommend continuous improvements to strengthen identity security and simplify user experiences.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in IT, with at least 5 years in IAM solution architecture roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in IAM platforms (Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of identity protocols(SAML, OIDC, OAuth2, SCIM, LDAP, Kerberos).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and security standards (GDPR, NIST, ISO27001, Zero Trust).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence, present, and negotiate across business and IT.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to balance security with usability.
