We are seeking an experienced analytics leader to drive advanced data science and AI initiatives across customer and risk-focused use cases. This role combines hands-on modelling with strong business partnership, translating complex problems into scalable, analytics-led solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy advanced statistical, predictive, and machine learning models using large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Deliver analytics solutions across fraud, collections, underwriting, and customer lifecycle decisioning.
- Proactively identify business risks and opportunities, anticipating priorities and shaping analytics roadmaps accordingly.
- Translate business challenges into robust analytical frameworks, ensuring clear methodology, measurable outcomes, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Partner with technology, product, and operations teams to operationalise AI models into production environments.
- Maintain high standards of delivery quality, governance, and timeliness in a fast-changing environment.
Requirements
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years’ experience in data analytics, modelling, and AI/ML within complex, data-intensive environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL, with experience working on cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g. GCP).
- Proven experience applying machine learning techniques at scale, from feature engineering to model validation and performance tracking.
- Experience working with data visualisation and BI tools to communicate insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence decision-making through data-driven insight.
- Comfortable working autonomously, managing multiple priorities, and driving initiatives end-to-end.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex models and outcomes to non-technical audiences.
- Must speak Cantonese and English
