Assistant Manager / Manager, Marketing Insights & Research (12-Month Contract)
Company Overview
Our client is a top-tier global financial services and insurance institution. They are seeking an analytically strong, hands-on practitioner to support a critical, large-scale project within their regional operations.
Project Scope
This role is dedicated to a centralized customer experience initiative focused on transforming direct consumer feedback into actionable business insights. The project aims to bring the voice of the customer and distribution partners directly into corporate decision-making across customer journeys, value propositions, and strategic growth initiatives. You will play an instrumental part in enabling the organization to achieve its customer-first ambitions and drive practical transformation across key business segments.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Quantitative Execution: Oversee questionnaire logic setup, sampling coordination, fieldwork management, and robust data cleansing/validation to ensure strict data integrity for the customer feedback project.
- Data Analysis & Dashboarding: Analyze complex tracking and survey datasets using descriptive and analytical techniques; consolidate findings into clear charts, Power BI dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
- Research Operations & Governance: Handle all project logistics including participant recruitment, incentive fulfillment, procurement/invoicing, NDA management, and compliance tracking.
- Qualitative & Agency Support: Manage vendor relationships (agencies and panel providers) and support qualitative logistics (scheduling, stimulus prep, and note-taking) as required.
Requirements & Competencies
- Experience: 2–4 years of relevant research or corporate insights experience. A background in a research agency or an in-house insights team is highly preferred.
- Core Technical Skill: Solid, hands-on experience handling quantitative research data is mandatory. Exposure to qualitative methodologies is a strong plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is strictly required; Mandarin is a plus.
- Industry Domain: Prior experience within financial services or insurance is highly advantageous.
- Systems & Platforms: Proficiency in survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics or equivalent customer community tools) alongside Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with AI productivity tools (Copilot) is a plus.
- Mindset: Exceptionally detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable handling repetitive, operationally heavy data tasks in a fast-paced environment.
