We are partnering with a leading technology consultancy to support a large-scale Master Data Management (MDM) transformation
within a major insurance organisation. This is a senior, hands-on Data Architect
role, focused on designing and delivering enterprise-wide master data solutions across complex, regulated environments.
This opportunity would suit an experienced MDM Architect who enjoys working at the intersection of business, data, and technology, and who has a strong track record delivering data architecture within insurance or financial services.
The Role
- Lead the architecture and design of MDM solutions
across core insurance domains (e.g. Customer, Policy, Product, Broker).
- Define and govern enterprise data models, canonical schemas, and master data standards.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable data architectures.
- Drive data governance, data quality, lineage, and metadata
strategies aligned to regulatory and operational needs.
- Support integration of MDM platforms with downstream systems, analytics, and reporting environments.
- Act as a trusted architectural authority within a consultancy-led delivery model.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or MDM Architect
on enterprise-scale programmes.
- Strong background delivering MDM solutions(Informatica, Reltio, Semarchy, SAP MDG, or similar).
- Experience within insurance or broader financial services
environments.
- Deep understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data quality frameworks.
- Hands-on experience designing integrations using APIs, event-driven architectures, or ETL pipelines.
- Comfortable working in consulting or client-facing delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Exposure to cloud data platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience supporting regulatory, risk, or compliance-driven data programmes.
