Product Owner (Azure Cloud)

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to drive the development and evolution of Azure Cloud-based solutions supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud-native technologies, business processes, enabling them to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.

This role will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring cloud solutions deliver measurable business value across production, supply chain, quality, and operational excellence functions.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Azure-based manufacturing platforms.
• Collaborate with business leaders, plant operations, engineering, and IT teams to prioritize initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Azure services to improve operational efficiency, plant performance, and business outcomes.
• Align product objectives with broader manufacturing digital transformation strategies.

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and prioritized.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Agile development teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and stakeholder demonstrations.
• Validate delivered functionality and approve completed work.

Azure Cloud Platform Management

• Drive the adoption and optimization of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams on cloud platform design and implementation.
• Support development of cloud-native applications, APIs, data platforms, and integration services.
• Oversee platform enhancements related to scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

Data & Analytics

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to leverage Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Fabric, Power BI, and related technologies.
• Define KPIs and success metrics for manufacturing operations.
• Support real-time and historical analytics initiatives across manufacturing environments.
• Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Manage communication, expectations, and product priorities across multiple functions.
• Present product updates, roadmap progress, and business value realization to leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst within technology-driven environments.
• Experience managing cloud-based products and platforms.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture concepts.
• Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
