We are currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director to lead their commercial functions across Modern Trade, General Trade, E-commerce, and Trade Marketing to join a leading FMCG company. This is a critical leadership role that will shape the growth and go-to-market strategy for one of the most exciting portfolios in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial turnaround strategy, addressing legacy issues and repositioning the brand across MT, GT, and E-commerce channels.
- Rebuild the sales team structure, KPIs, and go-to-market execution to improve channel performance and profitability.
- Strengthen and implement trade marketing programs to enhance in-store and online visibility, pricing discipline, and promotional ROI.
- Re-engage with key accounts and distributors, restoring confidence and rebuilding long-term partnerships.
- Identify gaps in market coverage, product availability, and sales operations, and introduce corrective action plans.
- Foster a performance-driven culture across sales and trade marketing teams with clear accountability and development plans.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure operational alignment and efficient execution.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven ability to reset commercial direction and deliver revenue growth under challenging market conditions.
- Strong expertise across Modern Trade, General Trade, and E-commerce, with a deep understanding of trade marketing levers.
- Strategic yet hands-on leader with experience managing diverse teams and complex channel dynamics.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Resilient, action-oriented, performance driven and comfortable making tough but necessary decisions to enable growth.
