Security Analyst / Cyber Defence Consultant — Contract | Vietnam

Interested in helping regional clients strengthen their cyber defences?

I’m connecting with Vietnam-based security professionals for potential contract and consulting assignments with an established international technology consultancy exploring the expansion of its cyber defence practice.

The work would combine hands-on security operations and client-facing consulting, supporting a mix of regional clients to identify threats, respond to incidents and improve their security capabilities.

Potential responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate and respond to security incidents, including phishing and malware
• Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments
• Strengthen detection capabilities and recommend practical security improvements
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in an agreed on-call rota where required

Who I’d like to hear from

• Security Analysts, Security Engineers and Cyber Defence Consultants with 2+ years of relevant experience, through to senior specialists and subject matter experts
• Strong experience in one or more areas: security operations, threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, cloud security or IAM
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, security architecture, risk assessment and Zero Trust principles
• A relevant degree in cybersecurity, computer science or a related discipline
• Strong professional English and confidence working directly with clients; additional regional languages or German are welcome
• Currently based in Vietnam
