Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior LangGraph Engineer to join the retail client's AI lab and accelerate the development of production-ready, agentic AI solutions . In this hands-on individual contributor role, you will independently own the solution design, architectural strategy, and end-to-end implementation of complex multi-agent workflows, state-managed applications, and seamless UI integrations for our retail ecosystem .

Key Responsibilities

• Agentic System Architecture: Design, build, and deploy multi-step AI workflows involving planning, tool execution, retries, and structured outputs using LangGraph and stateful orchestration frameworks .

• Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Lead the transition of LLM applications from proof-of-concept into high-availability production environments .

• UI Integration & Debugging: Connect backend agent systems with application frontends, building intuitive interfaces and resolving end-to-end flow execution issues .

• Enterprise Integration: Integrate LLM architectures with internal databases, APIs, enterprise systems, RAG pipelines, vector search engines, and structured data sources .

• LLMOps & System Health: Implement evaluation, testing, observability, and monitoring frameworks to optimize latency, reliability, token usage, security, and cost .

• Technical Ownership: Identify architectural risks early, write maintainable Python code, make trade-off decisions between complex multi-agent setups and simpler pipelines, and review team code .

Required Skills & Experience

• Seniority: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with significant hands-on depth building and deploying production-grade LLM applications .

• Framework Mastery: Deep expertise in LangGraph or similar state-graph orchestration engines .

• Frontend & UI Integration: Proven track record of integrating complex multi-agent backends with web interfaces (e.g., React, Next.js, or custom dashboards) .

• Core Tech Stack: Expert Python engineering skills, REST/gRPC APIs, modern database architectures, vector databases, and enterprise data pipelines .

• LLMOps Depth: Hands-on experience with context management, embeddings, prompt versioning, and observability tools (e.g., LangSmith) .

• Problem Solving: Experience handling failure modes, retries, edge cases, state management, and latency constraints in real-world environments .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI/GenAI solutions within retail, e-commerce, digital transformation, or high-volume consumer platforms .

• Exposure to Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflow integrations for approval and monitoring interfaces.
