Company / Role Overview

This role leads end-to-end user acceptance testing for a large-scale finance transformation initiative, ensuring new finance, accounting, and reporting processes are effectively validated before go-live. Operating within a multi-year global programme, the position oversees testing strategy, planning, and execution across multiple business units, while partnering closely with project leadership and technical teams. The environment is highly collaborative, change-driven, and focused on modernising finance operations through automation, standardisation, and enhanced data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full UAT lifecycle, including test strategy, planning, execution, and sign-off across multiple business units.
  • Oversee test preparation, including defining objectives, methodologies, timelines, and required environments.
  • Manage user testing teams, ensuring accurate defect logging, progress tracking, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Review and validate test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Report regularly on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to key stakeholders.
  • Produce final test completion reports to support business acceptance and readiness for deployment.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in large-scale testing, programme delivery, or similar transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in ERP finance systems, including general ledger and sub-ledger processes (cloud systems preferred).
  • Proven leadership of multi-location teams and experience across various testing phases (unit, functional, SIT, E2E, UAT).
  • Solid understanding of finance data flows, operational accounting processes, and reporting structures.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Additional certifications in delivery or test management and prior exposure to the insurance sector are advantageous.
